About Me

“ART is, my passion, my life!”

When I was around 6 or 7 years old, I got the mumps. This meant no running, jumping, or playing outside. For me, that was the hardest part about being sick. To keep me busy, my father bought me a paint-by-numbers oil set. I absolutely loved it, and painting kept me going.

Life, music, marriage, and various jobs kept me busy over the next few decades, up until 2000 when I lost my job due to bad health. Suddenly having a lot of time on my hands, I dove into computers—building websites and designing graphics. Eventually, I discovered I could paint using a computer and a mouse, and spent the next several years painting digitally.

I didn’t make it back to painting in the real world until 2014, when I took a free online course by Len Hend and started painting landscapes on canvas. A few years later, I expanded into still life, people, and custom pet portraits. Today, I enjoy painting just about anything that inspires me!
